ADVENTURE-PULSE, a unique endeavor started primarily to cater to an exclusive segment of adventure enthusiasts, was founded in 2010 by well qualified and trained professionals in the field of mountaineering, out bound training and basic lifesaving skills.
ADVENTURE-PULSE focuses on taking Adventure sports to a completely new level. Its focuses on not just promoting Adventure sports in India, but also combing it with the ‘Basic Principles of Management’ to create a personality development medium for not only corporates, but also for Schools and Colleges. This unique blend creates a fantastic opportunity for self-discovery, compelling the participant to overcome his fears & exceed his limitations.
Completed his MBA from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS, PUNE) in 2007, and went on become Regional Head Sales, Mumbai at Standard Chartered Bank. Subsequently, was Head HR, for Druva Software Pvt. Ltd, before founding Adventure-Pulse.
Sauraj left his corporate carrier after spending about 7 years in Standard Chartered bank and Druva Software to pursue his passion for climbing and mountaineering. A qualified mountaineer from the prestigious Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, a trained lifeguard from the Royal Life Saving Society, Australia, and a certified skydiver of the Indian Parachuting Federation. He isamongst the youngest Indians to climb Mera Peak in Nepal, in 2009.
Besides, climbing in India, Sauraj has had tremendous International climbing experience, having climbed Mt. Elbrus in Russia, Mt Blanc in the French Alps,Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa. He climbed Mt Everest in May 2018.
Did his graduation in Microbiology from Mumbai University & then completed his MBA in Human Resources from SIMS, Pune. He went on to work for Infosys BPO as an HR Manager before joining Sauraj in starting Adventure-Pulse.
A qualified mountaineer from the prestigious Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, & certified Underwater Scuba Diver, he credited with having led over 19 trekking groups (comprising over 150 people) to the Everest Base Camp, in addition to leading various other challenging high-altitude treks, including the Annapurna circuit, Mount Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Stok Kangri and Mera Peak. Having climbed three of the Seven Summits of the World, Samir Summited Mt Everest in 2018.
